Job Description:
As a Pharma API Warehouse Lead, you’ll oversee the storage and distribution of required material. Your main responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading the warehouse team.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Manage Warehouse Operations:
– Supervise daily tasks like receiving, storing, dispensing and dispatching materials.
– Create and follow SOPs to meet regulatory requirements.
– Keep track of inventory levels and coordinate with cross functional teams for demand forecasting.
2. Ensure Regulatory Compliance:
– Stay updated on pharmaceutical regulations (GDP, GMP).
– Maintain proper storage conditions and documentation.
– Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
3. Handle Inventory Efficiently:
– Develop inventory systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
– Implement FIFO and FEFO principles for material integrity.
– Work with procurement and production teams for inventory planning.
4. Lead Warehouse Team:
– Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff.
– Promote a culture of safety and quality.
– Encourage teamwork to achieve goals.
5. Quality Assurance:
– Collaborate with QA to maintain quality standards.
– Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly.
6. Manage Vendor Relations:
– Communicate effectively with suppliers for timely deliveries.
– Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts.
Job Requirements:
– Bachelor/ Master’s degree with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
– Previous experience in pharmaceutical warehouse management is must.
– Knowledge of regulatory guidelines.
– Strong leadership and communication skills.
– Proficiency in inventory management software.
