Roles & Responsibility
– Final quality check of all project deliverables as per applicable style guides, including
. Accuracy and consistency of terminology and data
. Consistency in presentation and layout
– Revise QC-related annexures in SOPs as per client comments on project deliverables and Prepare a tracker of all QC-related comments received on a project per writer
– Identify QC-related improvement areas and provide appropriate trainings feedback to writers and ensure that its implemented
– Randomly checks document process for all the projects
– Provide QC-related trainings on a monthly basis and documentation of different training logs
– Mentor medical editor/junior medical editor in their project deliverables and Provide constructive feedback to medical editor/junior medical editor and ensure that its implemented
– Identify improvement areas and provide relevant training to medical editor/junior medical editor
– Actively involved in annual SOP updates
Skills and Qualifications:
– MS Office
– Requirements of Good Clinical Practices
– Requirements of Good Documentation Practices
– Requirements of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 for Handling of Electronic Records
Ability to:
-Edit course content
– Understanding and implementing guidelines
– Check for grammatical and spelling mistakes
– Training colleagues and improve internal process
– Working with experts
– Understand the editing requirements at various stages
– Meeting quality expectations in a timely manner
Experience and Education:
– A Master’s degree in English /Lifesciences with advance degree on English in reading and writing with thorough knowledge of English grammar.
– Acquired training is various software programs that are used in editing is an added advantage.
– A complete understanding of word processing, managing files and records, transcription, and other office procedures
– Designing of curriculum, training programs, and measuring the effectiveness of training skills.
– Decides the layouts, index the content, and revising the final content to prepare the draft for documents.
– Coordinate with the authors to seek clarifications on any matter that they do not understand. Works closely with the project In charges to ensure the timely completion of the task with the maximum quality within the specified parameters.
