Established during the ‘Swadeshi Movement’ of India, Biological E. Limited (BE) started during a time when the nation sought access to critical healthcare products. Founded and led by Dr DVK Raju, Biological E. Limited commenced its operations in 1953 as a biological products company manufacturing liver extracts and anti-coagulants.
With the objective of transitioning from treating diseases to preventing them, Biological E. Limited launched its Biotechnology Division (now Vaccines and Biologics Division) and commenced large-scale production of DPT vaccines as early as 1962.

Experience: 8 to 12 years
Job Description:
1. Manage the downstream operations efficiently Planning, and execution of R&D experiments and Responsible for clinical material manufacturing (cGMP).
2. Preparation, of protocols, SOPs, BPRs other quality documents. Review and ensuring the filled Protocols/BPR process documents on time.
3. Data mining, sorting, and escalating the results or observations to the next level and presentation.
4. Active trouble shooting to minimize the various risks prior to execution and during execution.
5. Preparation of general validation protocols and report, Performance qualification documents.
6. Bill of Materials readiness, and ensuring the pre-requisites for the batch (GLP/cGMP).
7. Process related internal and external communication to meet the targeted timelines.
8. Hands-on lab experience and awareness on cGMP & cGLP.
9. Experience on the purification of polysaccharides/proteins and virus-like particles.
10. Experience in handling of different scale chromatography systems, pilot scale columns packing, TFF systems operation etc.,
